Naptime
Naptime is an Australian sleep-brand born out of Mobile Mattress. The company recognised that choosing and buying sleep products doesn’t have to be complicated, so they set out to give customers a straightforward, trustworthy experience. With the rebrand to Naptime, the promise is clear: we take care of the rest.
In my role as Brand Strategist, I led the redesign of the new brand identity—from logo to mascot to tagline. I conceived the playful “Zee” character to give the brand a friendly, memorable visual touch and developed the tagline “we take care of the rest” to underscore Naptime’s commitment to easing the customer’s journey. The revamped identity reflects the brand’s shift from just selling mattresses to providing peace of mind and simplicity.
As Design Lead, I collaborated with the Naptime team to reinvent the eCommerce experience with a modern visual language and intuitive structure. We implemented a streamlined mega menu for effortless browsing, and custom product pages that highlight key features, benefits and lifestyle imagery. The layout was purposefully uncluttered to reflect restfulness and clarity.
Transitioning into the Front-End Developer role, I executed the Shopify build to bring the design vision to life. I focused on ensuring the theme is responsive, fast-loading and easy for the client to manage. The result is a website that feels calm and credible, aligned with Naptime’s mission to let customers relax while the brand handles everything else.
